Time to Get Squeaky Clean With Homemade Dog Suds

Good Morning

I'm enjoying my coffee and one of the last warm days before arctic temps return here. I'm still battling a darn cold but
it's going to be a good day to give the dogs a bath before it gets cold out and they love to go outside.
I make a shampoo for them that really helps with their dry skin.
The recipe is as follows:

Rosemary is very moisturizing for their skin and that's why I choose to use it in their shampoo.  My two shelties, Rusty and Dusty are going on 4 years old and have dry, flaky skin. I don't bath them more than once a month and in winter it can be longer due to the cold and they like to go outside a lot.

I bring three cups of water to a boil and add a sprig of Rosemary to it, let it cool and pour into a bottle I can seal with a lid.
If you don't grow your own Rosemary, you can probably find it at your local health food store.
You could also use 3-4 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil if that is what you have.

Next I add a heaping tablespoon of Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, 5 tablespoons of Bronners Mild Baby Shampoo and 3-4 drops of Lavender Essential Oil and mix or shake well. The mixture will be nice and creamy.

Give it a try and see if it doesn't make a big difference with your dog or dogs.
Mine feel nice and soft, less itching and they smell good too.

I'd appreciate hearing if you make the shampoo and how it works for you.
And please do share!
I've include a link to the pdf if you would like to download this at the bottom of this post.

I've added links below to where you can purchase the items I use.
The Link I am adding for the Lavender Essential oil is one I sell from Forever Living right here on the site.
